If we all go through our own photo library, we can find a few embarrassing drunk pictures of ourselves and friends. These pictures usually go from sober to extreme drunkenness in a matter of few hours. Marcos Alberti‘s photo project, 3 Glasses Later, is trying to show the fun side of drinking in moderation. He invited his friends to his studio and photographed them before having any wine, their faces still reflected “the fatigue after working all day long,” Then after one, two, and three glasses, the results are revealing and fun.
You can see that, with every glass they drink, Alberti’s subjects look a little happier, a little friendlier, and little more tipsy. The compositions are, as Alberti says on his website, “At the end of every glass of wine, a snapshot. Nothing fancy—a face and a wall, three times.” The authentic emotions that are captured for every model shows a universal human response to a bit of a buzz. By the last shot, many of Alberti’s friends can barely contain their jolly mood!
